Since 2022, the Dr. José Lourenço Júnior Foundation has been proud to offer a #Snoezelen multisensory approach room at its facilities in Abiul.
This initiative, entitled Snoezelen4Kids, is especially dedicated to children and young people with special health needs, providing them with a peaceful and safe space where they can live moments full of positive and relaxing sensations.
The Snoezelen approach has shown exceptional results in the development of cognitive, behavioral and socio-emotional skills, in addition to promoting motor stimulation. Since last year, in alignment with our Mission, we have opened this space to the community, allowing more children to benefit from this enriching environment.
Our technical team, specialized in the Snoezelen approach, has closely monitored each child, adapting interventions to their specific needs and celebrating each progress made.
