The CYBER_SÉNIOR Digital Inclusion Center, located in the Internet Space of Lar Otília Lourenço, aims to provide the elderly in the municipality of Pombal with the simplified and adequate knowledge about writing programs, the functioning of the internet, Skype, accessing social networks, play games online, communicate with family, etc.
The quality of training is ensured by Escola Profissional ETP Sicó, whose young students help in the training of our cyber-seniors, thus sharing experiences and contributing to bring generations together!
This initiative received in 2016 the 1st Maria José Nogueira Pinto Award in Social Responsibility, in its 4th edition, and an Honorable Mention in 2019, in the competition promoted by CCDR_Centro, "Good Practices for Active and Healthy Aging".
