The signing of the Convention for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals took place on June 3, 2024, at the Museu do Oriente, promoted by the Centro Português das Fundações. 

It is with great satisfaction that the Dr. José Lourenço Júnior Foundation was part of the group of 40 Foundations that signed this Convention, thus demonstrating its commitment and contribution to the implementation of the SDGs in Portugal. This commitment, now formalized, represents for the Institution the commitment that, in its global activity, in its projects and initiatives, it contributes to supporting sustainable and inclusive growth, to face the climate emergency, the loss of biodiversity and social inequalities and asymmetries.
